I notice how my inbox overflows with similar questions often, so I thought up this little helpful series where we can unload what we’ve noted—in case you missed it, lost the screenshot, etc. etc. :) The stories that got the most questions / attention…
Diving right on in.
You can follow along with me on Pinterest here—did a big refresh this winter!
Bright red pedicures are back in action (a favorite go-to is “a good mandarin is hard to find” by OPI) and my Khaite mesh flats. Re: mesh, I preordered this style by Khaite on Moda Operandi back in the fall—they haven’t arrived yet, but noticed them on their site. I have a feeling they will be a sell out style. Also pictured, a birthday gift from my friends (who know me well).
Grace and her sink is a love story I didn’t see coming. She now washes my dishes and breaks down my boxes… lifestyle training is going very very well! So many of you asked about the tower, we got this one.
Getting nice and settled into our ‘new’ home. Albeit it’s one last week of interior touches and installs. P.S. this mirror is one of my many proud Etsy finds—one of my most favorite hobbies over the years has become sourcing on that marketplace—new series kicking off this week. :) Also—wearing my favorite Jenni Kayne sweatshirt (AshleyK15, as always for you to utilize!).
I think we all know how long I have been waiting for this moment. You know I love my little trinkets, Etsy finds, mixing and matching elements that bring joy (and usually work harmoniously with light bouncing off of it). Needless to say I am in styling heaven right now. Tray is from Olive Ateliers (a gift from years ago that I saved!), a beautiful hand soap dispenser that I splurged on, a metallic sponge, oh! and a new Jenni Kayne towel sneaking in the shot as well, it’s so gorgeous. I am actually going to go and order a couple more of these because I have fallen in love. I think you can use my code on this, too!
My topiaries are real—from Hudson Grace (I only go real route with plants and blooms, I just love them so much so forced myself into a green thumb). The table is old Zara Home.
Madison of Fewer Finer redesigned my engagement ring for me. I have been wanting to do this for a year or so now and spent so much time sitting with inspiration and ideas. I’m so happy with how it turned out! It will arrive back to me this week. More on this soon…
I always get a bevy of questions about my planters when they make it in the frame (often). Most of them in our garden are from local nurseries as it’s just more practical and easy to pick them up from somewhere close by. However, I do have a favorite place to buy them online, too, when need be. I usually just get smaller styles so they are less likely to break in transit. It’s called Campo di Fiori! Also, G helped me plant these tulip bulbs after Thanksgiving… you throw them in soil and walk away pretty much and charming blooms greet you in March. So cool. I knew exactly where I’d place them when the time came…
Today is the start of the Spring Shopbop sale (one of their biggest events of the year)—and it’s the best kind: 20% off select full-price in-season pieces (with code spring20). I took an early sneak peek at the ones for taking, and noted some favorites… you can also peruse my Shopbop hearts here to see if anything else I have saved is fair game. It ends on the 13th, so just a couple days, take advantage!
The sale highlights:
The perfect spring and summer straw hat. I have this in a light color from years ago and it’s *the best. I wear it constantly in our garden, poolside trips, and beach days.
SK-II Facial Treatment Essence. Another product I have and swear by! I rotate toners and am currently back to this one—it is so refreshing on my skin and makes a big impact, hydration-wise. Thinking about giving this serum a try…
Ancient Greek Sandals. For a long time now, I’ve noticed that out of all my warm-weather shoes, I am really leaning into the skinny strappy styles. They feel fuss-free, minimal, and go with everything.
I told you I’ve become the biggest fan of Aquazzura over the years, so be sure to peruse which of their styles are on sale. You know when a designer you love launches a couple collections in a row and you can just tell they are ON their game? That’s how I feel about this label right now.
If you need a really cozy pj set. I have this white short Eberjey duo and it is the softest material ever and so beautiful in person.
I live for pieces like this dress come this time of year. I’d wear it as its intended to, but also open buttons as a swim cover. I have this in the shirt variation and it’s lovely.
If you need a nice leather jacket on sale, I’ve always loved IRO styles. Here is one I like, but click through as I saw other styles of theirs in the sale pool, too!
And if you need a light-wash denim jacket, this is for you. Obsessed with this brand right now.
An approachable price point bomber jacket (the cut is so cute). This is a good transitional piece/style, too.
Lastly, this leather and canvas bag I mentioned earlier in the week is on sale, too! x
P.S. It’s my last full week of renovation!!!! At least the final big things happening: range install, dishwasher set up, laundry room counter and sink install, dining cabinets up, paint touch ups, sconces in… there are a few little things exterior to do, too, but we are in the very final stretch. So exciting… and with 75º on the forecast this week… I am buzzin’. :) x
